Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice but could get noisy due to outside seating. The service was fantastic, especially the breakfast waitress. The location was superb, close to the town and great for walking. The dining options were decent, but the timing was not ideal for me.
The hotel room was a complete disaster. It was tiny, window blocked the view with bins and a portacabin, staff were unprofessional smoking above the kitchen, and maneuvering around the bed was a challenge. Felt completely ignored and frustrated by the whole experience.
The hotel had comfortable rooms overlooking the street but potential noise from outside seating was a downside. The service was friendly but inexperienced. The location was excellent for accessing the town and surrounding areas, though parking was a bit of a hassle. The dining experience was superb but only available on Wednesdays.
My stay was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were a decent size and had everything we needed for our one night stay. They were lovely with lots of nice touches and appeared to be recently renovated. However, the double room was extremely small. On the upside, there was plenty of hot water for a shower, and the location, although in a quiet residential area, was within walking distance to the city center.
My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The location was convenient, being just a 5-minute walk to the center of Inverness, but prepare for a little uphill walk. The full Scottish breakfast was delightful, but I did wish for more scrambled eggs. The hotel facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.
